Lime morter repointing - Stonemasonry job in West Drayton, Middlesex

Job description

I have an 1850s mid terrace that needs some re-pointing on the rear walls of the house, the morter generally doesn't look in very good condition and some areas appear to have been patched with modern morter in some places these have cracked quite badly. I'm looking for an idea on how much it would cost to at least patch up the worst areas, but generally need advice on the best course of action to maintain the walls.

The mortar at the back of my 1850's terrace house was in poor condition and had been repaired poorly in the past with cement rather than the original lime. Terry visited a couple of times to assess everything and gave detailed and clear advice on what needed to be done, the old mortar would be carefully removed and replaced on the first floor with hydraulic lime that would be more suitable for the old building methods.
Terry and his apprentice turned up on time and completed the job on schedule and at the quoted price all with minimal fuss. The result is very clean and neat and looks like a new wall.
I was always kept in the loop with email updates and photos throughout which was very reassuring when i wasn't there.
A true craftsman, I have already contracted Terry for more work on a separate part of the house.
