Extend loft hatch or put in a new larger hatch - Loft Conversions job in Hull, North Humberside

Bungalow has a hall loft hatch very small (54cm square) we want to extend the hatch to (70cm square or put in a new hatch in the front bedroom ceiling.
The loft space above the existing hatch has had wooden boarding laid, whereas above the bedroom has no boarding.
The existing loft ladder (metal) can be used.
