Job description

Alterations to modern apartment flat: 1. kitchen/diner stud wall removed in part (approx 50 remaining; requires plastering both sides plus other adjoining walls 2. alterations to hallway - require replastering to altered stud walls. A quick visit to inspect would be needed.
A small length of "modern" cornice (fibrous plaster - not coving) approx. 1 metre in length could be included (or not) to hallways side.

I am a near-retired Architect and required a plasterer to follow on after joiner's 'first fix' in an alteration job to a 1990s flat. My usual plasterer let me down. Mr Clark arrived on time at 8.00 both mornings, having already been to builder's merchant for materials (2 plaster types (Bonding and Multi-Finish) agreed with me prior to his arriving. He was well organised and worked away with only a short break each day. His Multi-Finish plasterwork was indeed left "First Class" - his trade mark it seems. I have another small (but specialist) job for him in a listed building (requiring different plaster type) and will report further on his use of either Universal One Coat or Renovatiing Plaster in due course. Meanwhile for a smallish job in a modern property - an excellent job.
