Care needed to protect recently laid wooden floor with underfloor heating.

Would also like to replace gas fire at same time to a modern closed one. Corgi registered fitter experienced in this required. 4 story building, chimney recently swept.

Couldn't really ask for much more in a builder, unlike a lot of other tradespeople in my experience. Right from the start I knew Jay was the person I wanted to hire - he was the only builder to turn up to quote at the time he said - important when you need to get to work yourself. He also had a flexible approach to the work and no quibbles when I postponed him for a week at short notice.

That went on when the work started - they were always on time, friendly, respectful of my home, protected all walk areas, left the area clean every night and most importantly did a great job. As per other comments on here, Jay spotted a few other things which needed doing around the house and fixed them on the spot at no charge.

All in all I'm very pleased with the work they've done and the finish on the plastering they did is flawless. I've already asked them to quote for more things I need doing.

If you hire them, just make sure you have plenty of tea bags and sugar in ;-)
