So my gas hob had been incorrectly fitted and there was a leak. British gas isolated the leak and switched off the gas but this was all they could do to help. Dragon express came and resolved the problem immediately on a Saturday afternoon at very short notice. Yongquan Hu was very personable and efficient. He replaced the faulty parts and left the appliance safe and in working order. The job took 2 hours and the charge for labour and parts was 200, which seemed about the going rate and which I gratefully paid (I was in France and had people house-sitting).
