Large pine tree trim (tpo terms need meeting) - Tree Surgery job in Windsor, Berkshire

Job description

  • Tree trimming / topping
  • 1 tree
  • It's a large tree, over 8m tall

Customer description

We have a large Pine Tree in our back garden that needs to be trimmed back, maintained and pruned to smarten up and ensure saftey. The tree is under a TPO and we have been granted the below permissions:

The Council considers the proposed shaping to avoid excessive growth into the neighbours' garden acceptable on the condition that the overall height of the subject tree is not altered and only branches of the lower crown up to 6m from ground level are tip reduced with final pruning cuts no greater than 50mm in diameter so as to minimise any potential detriment to the trees aesthetic value and overall health. Wherever practicable, pruning should be restricted to smaller diameter, tertiary parts of the tree as this will minimize the size of the resultant wounds and provide the greatest opportunity for these to be occluded.

The works must be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998:2010, 'Tree Work - Recommendations'.

Feedback for Johnson’s Tree Surgery

If you are reading this and considering if to select Charles or not the answer is yes you should.

I needed Charles and his team to carefully trim and sort a large Oak we have in our garden that is under a council TPO. Charles quoted well with a good understanding of what was needed. His prices were fair and he did a really great job and was genuinely a nice guy too!

My neighbor even said, "lovely guys can't believe how clean they left the place!"
