Customer description

I am looking to replace my existing carpet fitted to the upstairs landing and stairs. The Landing is about 4.5m (wide) and 2m (length) and in an 'S' shape. There are 12 stairs in total described as follows:

• 7 straight steps 4 kites 1 bullnose.
• Each step is about 0.9 x 0.5
• Each kite is about 1.3 x 0.9
• Bullnose is about 1.1 x 0.5.

The overall length of the carpet ordered is 5m (wide) x 4.25m (length). We will reuse the underlay and grippers already present.

Due to a tiling error, the small extension of tiles beyond the threshold of the closed bathroom door will need cutting back and a new carpet to tile threshold bar fitted.

We will dispose of the old carpet as it is uplifted.

There is no specific timeframe in mind (flexible), however preferably in the coming 3 weeks. This is not a speculative post, I am actively seeking to hire a carpet fitter.

Please note this job is located in Milton Keynes; there is parking available at my property (drive way); however any vehicle larger than a LWB Transit will struggle to park.

Added 13th June, 2022: ---------------------- Carpet we have purchased is described as: 40oz TWIST with action back (5m Wide).
