AVOID! THIS TRADESMAN CAN NOT BE TRUSTED!

I accepted this tradesman on MyBuilder to come and fix the gutter on my roof, and randomly the next day he calls me to say he is at the property (I was not in) and that he fixed the gutter! This was the first time speaking with the tradesman and they did not speak with me beforehand to organise the visit!

Because of my trust in this tradesman, I said thats fine, so I transferred the money to him and requested an invoice (which I never got)

When I came home, he clearly did not do anything! We agreed that he will change the gutter joint where the leak was coming from, but when I spoke to him he said that he just sealed it with glue as those joints were not being sold anymore.......so I decided to pop into B&Q and what do I find...the exact joint that needed to be replaced!

When I called him to say it was still leaking, he said that he will pop back after his holiday to fix it.....and since then no response and no show!

It's clear he robbed me of my money as he clearly LIED about everything!

AVOID! THIS TRADESMAN CAN NOT BE TRUSTED!

IF YOU HAVE GIVEN HIM A JOB, MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE PROPERTY WHEN HE DOES THE JOB AND MAKE SURE HE IS DOING WHAT HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING!

KEEP AN EYE ON HIM!
