When I shortlisted Tony for my job, he phoned me and came straight over to assess the work involved. He is very knowledgeable and explained how he would tackle the job. He also pointed out something I had overlooked. The job was basically to lay a laminate floor in my kitchen. There was more to it than just that though. Tony and his team arrived early and got started. They had to remove some old laminate that was stuck under the kitchen units. Then they removed the skirting boards, fitted the new laminate and then refitted the skirting boards. They worked well as a team and did a neat, tidy, professional job. I noticed that they had a big vacuum cleaner which they used frequently to keep the place clean. Tony fitted a new UPVC quadrant to the threshold of the patio doors. That was the bit that I had originally overlooked. Finally they refitted the "under cupboard" plinth boards. These included some small lights which needed to be tested. Yes - they worked fine. There were also some strip lights under the worktops which had become disconnected. James had the patience and determination to get those working which he did quite quickly. Overall, Tony and the boys did a top class job. They were polite, friendly and professional. I would thoroughly recommend them. Oh - by the way - they like their tea sweet!
