Rating: 4.4 out of 5 4.459 reviewsAfter getting a quote and feeling that James (Kelvin) knew exactly what he was doing, I was pleased I was going to get a bad job done well. After starting 2 months after the date quoted and paying a large amount of money for materials, which weren't delivered as quoted, Kelvin eventually started work (end of October), knocking down existing roofing, and leaving it without any cover for me to move between my house and bathroom, we then had the heavy rain, which he did say was on its way, causing water to get into my house and the bathroom. When he did start, being at work I couldn't see exactly what was going on. These are the problems we are now having after asking Kelvin to leave the job. After moving back door out a little, and external drain now being exposed on the inside of the house, it covered as an eco drain. After placing the cover (which we now know doesn't fit) over the drain, it was concreted up, which is against building regs, leaving any debris in the drain, so after having rain again this has flooded causing water to spread under existing flooring. Bad electrical work - with no name of electrician or cert as requested Life wires being left exposed Bad plastering - which Kelvin admitted he was no good at Roof leaking - no name of roofing company to get back to Floor tiles which he laid v v very badly - loose and able to take up without use of any tooling and not breaking any. I would not advise anybody to take him on as a builder

My projects have varied from roofing to plastering, fitting a kitchen or bathroom to general repairs around the house. Larger projects have included building extensions and barn conversions, my recent project being a complete renovation and refurbishment of a quarrymans cottage.
Latest review:Extensions-I'm giving Jake a neutral review as my full renovation was a difficult and time consuming job. He built an extension which we were and are very happy with, and his work on the renovation was good till the agreed budget ran out. Then the attitude and work were rushed and compromised and we were left with a leaking chimey despite them having overhauled the roof. The floors were and are still not level and he wouldn't come back to fit skirting board despite it being paid for as part of the budget.

In summary, he has removed my old wooden porch and replaced it with a brand new extension. The front of my house looks and feels spectacular! I cannot fault the work that has been completed, it has been built to the highest standard. Throughout the whole process of the build, Daryl had explained and gave me regular updates on how the job was progressing. I was never left unsure of uncertain about anything. What also made the job so easy for me is that Daryl and his team are genuine people, everything was done to ensure my satisfaction, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. I highly recommend Daryl and would have no problem asking him and his team to complete any further work. Thank You!

We pride ourselves on cleanliness and keeping our sites as tidy as possible. We offer services which include new construction such as new residential properties being new builds, extensions, garages etc. we also undertake renovations/ re-modelling jobs and carry out property maintenance. We also fit new kitchens and bathrooms and any other joinery/carpentry work.

He started off by doing a small plastering job and the work has snowballed from there. He is a good tidy worker I am pleased with his work and I can highly recommend him.
