I bought a house in a bad state of repair and needed to have alterations carried out to include a downstairs bedroom , en-suite shower room and an extension for an open plan kitchen / livingroom. The search for a builder to complete this work was daunting to say the least, however from my first meeting with Gordon @ Gage Construction I knew I’d be in safe hands. He is professional, conscientious and accommodating and with his years of experience has plenty of advice and ideas to share. His team are polite, hard working with a definite “can do” attitude to their work. Latest review:Extensions-In spring 2023, Rob and his team undertook a major extension project at our house, involving the removal of all internal walls, installation of a new heating system, and complete update of the ground floor layout. This was a first such project for us and we felt very lucky to have Rob on the job. We were impressed from the outset: from the initial comprehensive phone call to regular photo and video updates while we were away, there was a consistent effort to not only meet but exceed our requirements. This transparency in explaining what was needed and how the process would (maybe should) unfold helped keep the stress levels manageable! The team's punctuality and tidiness was impressive. Starting promptly at 8 am each day, they consistently delivered a substantial amount of work, with neighbours praising the site's cleanliness. Rob’s evident pride in his work was notable, treating our home with the same care as if it were his own. He prioritised quality, selecting the best (but not necessarily cheapest) materials where it mattered. Payment terms reflected this commitment, with the final balance only due when we were happy all snagging items were sorted. In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend RMC Developments for their professionalism, reliability, and skill. The choice of builder might be the single most important decision in a construction project and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rob and his team for yours.

Latest review:Restoration & Refurbishment-Lauren and Barry undertook and oversaw a substantial amount of work which was carried out over a long period of time on our property and garden. Lauren and Barry were totally professional from day one, as were all their staff, and we have the highest regard for them. The standard of work they delivered was excellent and we are really happy with the result. Lauren and Barry also recruited to, managed, and oversaw a number of projects on our property and garden that we had struggled to recruit trades to. Once again they managed the process very well and facilitated the relationship between ourselves and the sub-contractors. I would not hesitate to recommend Lauren and Barry to undertake any work large or small.
