The parlour

Julue Rooney

Having moved house this year in February, my down size , we found ourselves in this fantastic Victorian terraced myself and my children , much as we loved it , the decor was dated and I told my girls not to worry as I will paint and tweak it , money being tight painting was the only option , couldn’t remove old brick walls and fires , so off I set to creat a little hub and re created the Parlour into our living room , my Grandma used to have a posh room like this only for Sunday’s ! Thing off the past now , I like to use my living space to the full , it took me 4 days over a month juggling around my busy job , but the end result where adorable , I painted the ugly wall paper and the bricks and last but not least the awful dark dated built in Cupboards and the results where amazing , we love it , still room for improvement but for now we are happy in our parlour , before and after pictures attached

I love the neutral tones. It’s really lovely.
