2 jobs - old barn to summerhouse + gravel drive refurb

The job was not an easy one as it involved using the base and sides of an old corrugated sheeting barn to form a summerhouse. A new front was being made elsewhere, the guys had to construct a new roof from scratch, sort the floor and replace the back. The job was completed far quicker than we expected at a very reasonable price (the lowest of three estimates). We had expected the roof to be made of trusses which are structurally adequate but visually unappealing whereas the excellent carpenter produced a beautiful cut roof which is visually very attractive. The old sides didn’t quite fit the new front so, although not in the estimate, they cut and fitted new galvanised panels to fit the gaps at no extra cost and without being asked. And all this with a cheerful smile! We remain delighted with the end result. The other, more straightforward job was completed during breaks on the summerhouse and was also exactly as required. These guys were very ready to go the extra mile - not something you find often these days!
