Decorating and minor repair work had to be carried out within a short timescale to allow quick renting of a property. I talked to Chris on the phone and by the time we were getting the keys he was there discus the jobs with us. He understood that we expected quality work at a reasonable cost and we wished him to fix any issues which may caused additional problems and cost on the longer term.
When we needed professional advice he provided options so we had choices.
THe work was carried out while we were abroad. He kept us informed via emails and he did not carry out work without our authorisation.
After our return we find that some tiling has been missed, which he sorted within a day. The bill was reasonable. The property was ready to rent on the agreed date, thanks to Chris.
Chris is definitely a trade person who listens to the customer, has the right trade colleagues. He would deserve the Job of the Year award.

We have also used Chris and the fact the job was completed whilst the owners were away, completed on time and communication was timely and accurate is a testament to Chris' professional attitude to customers.
