I, a 26 year old, finally managed to get on the property ladder after years of saving my deposit. I grew up in a council estate flat so getting on the property ladder was ‘the dream’. If you can recall your memories about purchasing your first property, then you know the excitement and the sheer joy of finally having a place of your own to call home. As you can imagine I made a lot of compromises in order have the place I wanted. The flat I bought was outdated, with its old electric wiring, poor plumbing and bad insulation. In steps in Kenneth, my favourite and go to electrician. Kenneth was very patient and understanding to my needs, I did not want any visible wires so Kenneth went the extra mile and hid all of them. He even installed a motion sensor light, it turns on as soon as I enter my flat which is situated on the first floor. This proved to be very handy as my mum can see the stairs instantly when she comes to visit me and not worry about finding a light switch. To top it off, Kenneth gave me a ‘first time buyers’ discount as a gesture of goodwill which I found very endearing as money was already stretched thin. Therefore this is my story of why I nominated Kenneth.
