Bathroom refurb (with tiling & carpentry)

Danny met me the night I shortlisted him to give me a quote. I had been messed about my a plumber (who I knew personally) and already forked about £2,000 for jobs he made up but I just wanted rid of him.
Danny took my job on and started with David. Together they have three trades. I really needed someone who could make decisions for me as I can’t have my phone on me at work. It was my first refurb (and first home I had owned) so I kept adding jobs I hadn’t thought of along the way, like saying I wanted x4 new doors, then x8 new door handles to be fitted. Each time Danny would have me an upfront cost and then source the materials and continue with no problem at all. We ran out of grout at one point and he went to buy more of the extract same. Thet weren’t happy with the men who fitted my kitchen as the worktop wasn’t flat, meaning their tile work would have looked uneven, they had this difficult conversation on my behalf without my knowledge (they told me days later). I was dreading the final cost but they didn’t add any sneaky charges, other than the prices agreed each time I added something new to do for me. The final night, Danny stayed late until I could get there after work, we looked at the work together and handed over the payment. I had a little problem with a leak in my towel rad and Danny said he would come back and check this for me (it actually cleared up after a day or two). I have recommended them to my friend and she is using them for her refurb on her own home too. Couldn’t be happier
