I was in desperate need for someone to unblock my drain during heavy rain.
I had only been in my house a few months when the weather took a turn for the worst and we soon realised there was a problem.
The house is a 120 year old Victorian terrace and it soon became obvious that the drain was blocked when it started to cause damage to the house and flooded my cellar.
I posted the job on a Saturday morning and Tom replied almost immediately after I accepted his request and explained my issue, he came out within the hour.
He explained what he was going to do and began to excavate a small hole to access the pipe below the drain to and cut a whole just big enough so he could fit his jet in.
As soon as he opened up the pipe you could see the problem, it was completely blocked with silt which had been building up since the house was built.
Tom then set to work jetting the pipe until it ran free.
He didn't stop there he dropped his high definition camera into the pipe to see if there was any other problems. The picture was so clear and it was good to see just how clear the pipe was and what a great job he had done.
He then replaced the section of pipe he had to cut into, filled the hole he had dug and cleaned the whole of the front garden. It actually looked better than before he started.
Tom was great and his price was very good, I was actually very pleasantly surprised when he told me how much it was considering the ammount of work it took and the fact I was willing to pay anything to sort out the problem.
If anyone has any drainage issues contact Tom Webster he is a genuine hard working guy, very professional and won't rip you off.
He gives my builder a great name and is very good at what he does. If I or anyone I know needs someone for drainage I will definitely recommend Tom.
