Damp course


There are some basics that builders often miss to the extent that poor communication and lack of punctuality have become a standing joke. Firstly when Mr Doyle says he'll be there at 0700 expect a knock at 0659. Secondly some builders cant resist using technical language often to over-sell or inflate costs. This was NOT the case here and frankly he talked me out of going a much more expensive route pointing out that only 50% of the area needed stripping back to brick (I had two inspections by other 'experts' who suggested going that way). Lastly Mr Doyle ensures his team clean up properly (with largest vacuum I've ever seen) and that demonstrates he knows he's in a HOME not a house.
I haven't needed follow up but he rang me a while after the job just to ensure we were still happy and urging us to contact him if we are in any way concerned.
