roof to be re-tiled,

I was impressed from the start by Ellis's approach to the roofing job. Whereas previous roofers had only walked around at ground level making their assessment of the job, Ellis sent a drone up with a camera to examine the job and was able to show me the work proposed on his moblile phone. He offered several options as the materials and pointed out how financial saving could be made. His quote was the second lowest.

The team were friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to be able to use the scaffolding when they weren't working by putting suitable planks down specifically for my use, so that I was able to re-paint the upper story of my house. In order to preserve security of my premises and their property, they removed their ladders each day but ensured that I was able to gain access to the scaffold by an upper story window.
At the same time as the roof was being replaced I had a plumber install a new gas fire, this involved removing the old flue and replacing it with a new one which proved to be quite a struggle. The plumber told me that the roofers had been helpful to him in doing this.
Finally, when I hadn't finished my painting job Ellis arranged for the scaffold to be left in place for an extra two days, during which time I was able to finish my work.

I consider that this was above and beyond what could have been reasonably required.
