Plasterer required for small listed building project

Cheltenham

Paul was able to come and visit the site within a 2 days of me contacting him. He clearly understood the issues we had to consider around the listed building and was very helpful in his suggestions and discussions with us for remedying them, having worked on listed buildings before. Paul was able to start almost immediately and, inevitably as we worked through the house and decided to improve more of the plasterwork as we progressed, he was able to be with us for longer than initially thought which enabled our tight time schedule linking into the other trades to be met spot on.

Every day Paul was on time at the site. He was friendly and fun to have around, would always let us know if he needed to go somewhere else at the end of the day to do another quote (completely understandable) and was always happy to discuss the next step, especially when this wasn't initially immediately clear.

The quality of his work is absolutely superb and he took care and time to produce a fantastic finish. Our 19 year old son was also helping out on the project and Paul even took the time over several days to teach him the basics of skimming!

We undertake 2 property renovations a year which means they have to be turned round quite quickly and have been working towards building a team of tradesmen who understand the importance of this for us, and who we can rely on and enjoy working with. Paul is now right at the top of this list and we have already secured him for our next project. He really embodies what we consider the perfect tradesman to be: honest, reliable, outstanding craftsman, fairly priced, and above all a great person to work with. I would be so thrilled if this recommendation earned him an award.
