Handymen who are happy to come out and do whatever jobs are needed are the unsung heros of the trade industry and should be celebrated.
Having moved into a new house and finding quite a few of the DIY jobs beyond my capabilities but not interesting/cash effective enough for most tradesmen, I turned to MyBuilder in the hope of finding a trustworthy and competent handyman who could help.
Tim was the first person to respond to my post and not scoff at the list of jobs I needed doing.
Everything from filling in an old cat flap in the wall, to hanging pictures that I couldnt lift and building furniture.
He came round (on time!) and was friendly and chatty and did all the jobs on my list with such care and attention and then even helped and suggested with other potential jobs I wasnt sure about to make sure I got the most out of the time I was paying for.
Tim has been back several times since to help with other odd jobs and nothing is ever too much trouble. More so than tradespeople we have had in to do bigger jobs, by paying attention to detail and doing the smaller jobs that we were unable to do,, Tim has helped us turn our new house into a home.
