Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

update 70's stairs

Hartlepool

I wanted to replace my 70's ranch style balustrade and fit a handrail to my stairs as it lacked any character. Kev (KPY Joinery) had lots of ideas for alternative styles and finishes and was clearly enthusiastic about his work whilst taking into consideration my needs (very important as some would only offer a one size fits all approach!) . He took into consideration my budget which resulted in a mix of hardwood and softwood being used. He also took into consideration my personal style which resulted in black wrought iron brackets being used on the handrail.
Kev carried out the work to a very high standard however importantly he kept me informed throughout the process. On one occasion he was going to arrive later than planned but he text me and let me know so I wasn't left waiting and wondering where he was.
Kev is the tradesmen you dream about- skilled, reliable, enthusiastic and creative. Because of his excellent approach to work, excellent customer service and the high standard of his work I have since employed Kev for 2 other jobs - repairs to squeaky stairs and making and fitting a bespoke cd storage unit.
