Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

construction of field shelter

Aylesbury

I moved to Hulcott from Devon this year with my two rescue donkeys. Donkeys are really desert animals and need shelter in winter. I had brought with me a stable but needed it erecting for them. As a single female I always worry about getting a rogue tradesman or ripped off. I found Bob through this website and he agreed to do the work. The job he did was excellent and much more than I had asked him to do. He repair my fences as he said there was no point having a stable if they wouldn't stay in the yard, put up the stable in record time and to price and spec. and he even put up the stag antlers we use to hang the donkeys halters up without a murmur or laugh at what he was being asked to do. My lasting memory - and Bob is not a small chap is of him on his hands and knees scoring the yard at the end of the job to make sure that he hadn't dropped any nails that might hurt the donkeys feet. he even put up with them watching him work. I was so impressed that he is coming back to put up a music studio for me. Really great guy who wont rip you off, does great high quality work with no fuss and you can trust him which I guess is the big thing here
