Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

External paint job of 1850s cottage

Exeter

Toby even worked Sundayto get the job done. Having just moved into an 1850s cottage, which needed the exterior repaired and painting including sash windowz. We chose Toby to do the work, which was on a timelimit due to having scaffolding. Toby turned up on time when he said he would. He even worked on Sunday to put a 2nd coat of paint on due to the weather conditions. This was despite the fact his Mum was ill. Toby explained any issues at level we could easily understand and providing soultions so we could choise the right option. He employed a labouer (John) on a day rate and if the required work for the day had been completed they would do other 'odd' jobs that needed dong instead of going home. After completling the work he came back a month later to check every thing was Ok, which it was. The jib wasn't always easy but his standard of work was excellent, we couldn't have hoped for a better person to do the work. The job was done on time within budget and we are still very happy with it 4 months later. If I win I will give £1000 to chatity.
