Drive Has Sunk : Quote Required and Advice

We live in a new build house and our drive sunk after a skip was placed on it. Our home was still within the 2 year warranty however the builder said that it was not their responsibility and that we had placed a skip on the drive that was either too heavy, or that we had dragged the skip. Neither statements where true and the builder chose not only to ignore us they pratically said we were lying - it was very stressful given that when we bought the house the customer service they gave was fantastic. We posted a job in mybuilder and explained the situation to Adam @ Blastaway. There was no way we could prove or disprove if that drive had been laid to meet regulations and Adam offered to survey the drive for us, for free, so we could see if the tarmac and hardcore etc. was thick enough. We took Adam up on this offer and it was clear the drive did not meet regulations! Thanks Adam, without your support and feedback we would never have known this! Adam then went on to do a fantastic job of our drive way. Friendly, approachable and someone who really cares about what he does (unlike new house builders!!)

From what I hear though, these new builds are keeping people like Adam busy so ...not necessarily a bad thing!
