Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

Welcome to MyBuilder

Over the past 12 months we've had a lot of work done in our 1920's semi inc. a new kitchen and main bathroom, we've lowered the ceilings in most of the first floor bedrooms and re-decorated throughout! This meant a lot of plastering which was done by our usual company however the last job was fitting a new staircase and sorting the downstairs hallway and. ceilings where the walls and ceiling all needed re-plastering and unfortunately our usual builder wasn't available! A friend recommended and after looking around and getting quotes etc. I chose Alan Tear .. what an excellent choice. If only I'd met Alan and his team before, they totally exceeded my expectations and their plastering was exemplary! When they'd finished, apart from the smoothest walls and ceiling I've ever seen I wouldn't have known they'd been, my house was spotless! They had protected the entire area inc. my newly laminated floor and there wasn't a mark anywhere, they were amazing!
They truly deserve to win this prize, they're young lads relatively new to the trade and they really deserve the break and recognition this prize would bring!
