Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

Welcome to MyBuilder

Prep and paint bungalow outside walls incl gable end

My Father-in-law is 83 and sadly lost his wife recently. My wife has since become his carer in many respects as he suffers from Parkinson's disease. We found it so difficult to find a tradesman to undertake some work to his lovely home which had fallen into disrepair following his wife's illness which was most frustrating. We found Allan's details on MyBuilder and decided to get a quote amongst others. The best thing we ever did. Allan came out streets ahead of others and gave us a very fair quote for the work that needed doing. He came to view the job, was most approachable and pleasant and treated Dad with great respect. We decided to put our trust in Allan and must say it was the best thing we did. He completed the work within the deadline and not only that he did all the other little tasks our Dad asked him which were NOT included in the price. He moved plants around outside, he took on extra jobs and always tidied up after himself. To be honest I can't speak highly enough of Allan and would love him to receive this award - he is a worthy winner. I think my photos will highlight how well he undertook the job too.
Thank you for allowing me to nominate Allan Harvey.
