Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

En suite alteration & refit

Ours was an outdated en suite bathroom that was far too big. Tom & his team created a smaller beautifully equipped en suite with a double shower, twin basins, square toilet & a very unusual high output radiator. Walls were plastered & half tiled & the floor was tiled in complimentary tiles. Spotlights were installed & a silent extractor fan. We also required a door frame creating & a door fitted as there was previously just an opening in the wall between the bedroom & ensuite. The transformation is absolutely stunning. We have shown family & friends the completed en suite & they have all been amazed at the beautiful room that has been created from what was quite an ugly en suite. The store room which was created involved putting up a stud wall, insulation, new skirting boards & plastering. The door also needed to be turned & a light fitting relocated. Tom & his team worked tirelessly to accomplish this job with the minimum amount of disruption. They were extremely tidy & each evening made sure that everything was clean & tidy before going home. Believe me, that was amazing in itself, considering how much dust there was. Tom & his team deserve a medal for a wonderful job completed. We are delighted & cannot thank them enough.
