Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.
Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.
“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”
Welcome to MyBuilder
MyBuilder makes it easy to find quality tradespeople, reviewed by other homeowners.
My garden wall was partly demolished by a car. Part of it which was still standing had to be taken down before the re-build could start.
I obtained three quotations. The first was for £1,100 which I thought was excessive. The second said the job would take a day and a half but quoted less than the first.
The third quote , which was the cheapest, was from Mark Henderson.
Mark was able to do the job when it suited me and although it was raining on the day he took advantage of the shelter from some trees and cracked on with the job.
He arrived when he said he would, brought some extra materials and set his equipment up in the carport, where he laid out some tarpaulin to protect the floor.
He was able to salvage a lot of the original wall and he cleared away any rubble that was left.
He worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job in less than a day. He did an excellent job, the repaired wall looks as good as new. I am very pleased with his work.
After the wall was finished he cleared everything away, cleaned the area where he had his mixer and generally left everything shipshape and Bristol fashion.
Mark was very polite from start to finish, very professional and is clearly a skilled craftsman.
He was a perfect example of what you would want a tradesman to be. Expert, honest and reliable. He is a credit to his trade.
