Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

Spindle repair

Gillingham

While away on our long awaited holiday we had our hall decorated. After saving for some time and spending weeks and weeks preparing our hall (this included stripping all wood!) we were more than excited to come home to see the transformation. After just one week my son broke one of our spindles....I was devastated! Our spindles are original and therefore I knew we couldn't replace them. The next morning i went onto my builder.com and wrote out my request for a spindle repair. Literally within 30 minutes I had a reply and Matthew Staples came to.our rescue. He couldn't of been more helpful and after sending photos of the damage he said he would come and collect the spindle when he got back from holiday....Yes he was on his holiday but still responded to our request! True to his word Matthew turned up, took the spindle to his worksop and then returned it the following weekend and fitted it. I am thrilled not only did he do an amazing job he was so professional and helpful. You would never know it had broken....even though this was a small job it was a big ask and i can't thank him enough and I will now always use my builder.com to find a tradesman as I have had a brilliant experience and a great job completed. Thank you.
