Job of the Year

Huge congratulations to Ellouise Hempstead and her MyBuilder tradesman Martin Robinson of MJO Limited, in Lincolnshire.

Ellouise nominated Martin for the expertise, dedication, energy and generosity he brought to her challenging renovation project.

“Martin has taken our dream and made it his own. He’s worked with us to understand what we need, what we want, and what we’d love (but don’t think we can afford) and he’s helped us to make those things a reality. He’s an honest and reliable builder, who cares about his customers, and wants their project to be a success.”

Kitchen replacement

Fareham

Marcus does everything to the standard that he himself would be happy with in his own home. He works quickly but never seems to rush. Any extras that arise during the course of the work he is more than happy to incorporate and often suggests ideas for improvement on the existing plan. The finish on all aspects of his work is exemplary even to the extent of making sure there are no brush or roller marks in new paintwork. Another example is thoroughly cleaning out the void beneath a kitchen floor before installing the new one. He always asks for an opinion when he finishes a particular aspect of a job to ensure that the client is happy before proceeding to the next task. He even moved a number of electrical socket back boxes a matter of millimetres from where the electricians had placed them because they did not quite line up with the edges of wall units. I had a triangular shaped recess in a wall where the stairs went up for which he had an obscured double glazed unit made. It didn't quite fit so he had it made again at his own expense. Marcus is very friendly, extremely professional and always tidies up at the end of every day. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
