I had been let down by tradesmen previously contracted to carry out a damp proofing in my house. But I knew the gable end/front of the house needed pointing, but who do I get? Being a woman on my own, sometimes I wonder that tradesmen try and take advantage. I went on the web to look at my options, I came accross the site called 'My Builder' I looked at all the comments from customers who had used the tradesmen here, and all the comments were brilliant. So I thought I'd list my job and see what happens. Shortly after Dean contacted me and said he would be interested in quoting me for the job, we arrange a convient time for Dean to come down. Dean turned up on time as he said he would, good start I thought.
I told Dean of my previously bad experience, he put me at ease right away, he would give me a quote, which was very good and no preasure though to hire him, have a word with my family and to let him know. The next day I asked Dean to start the job when ever it was convienient for him. Dean turned up when he said he would, he was very pleasant, hard working, and trustworthy, I felt comfortable with leaving Dean my house keys as I wasn't at home all the time, so he could acces the power points, I also told him to help himself to a drink (tea/coffee) Dean did a brilliant job, left the place clean and tidy, washed off the neighbours cars. There was no pressure to pay either, pay me when you are happy with the job, he said, which made me happy and confident with Dean. I'm glad to have come across this site and Dean, so "thank you" to Dean and My Builder.
