After our extension was 90% completed our builder sent us an email to say they weren't coming back to complete the job leaving us in a right mess with no useable kitchen. Our family with young children had no oven, washing machine, plug sockets or lighting in the kitchen and bathroom and had already spent 3 months living without a kitchen the situation was very unpleasant and stressful.
I put a desperate plea for help on the my builder website which is where Rob Spencer from RJS got in touch within hours of posting my message. Rob realised that he was the original contractor who did our stage 1 electrics of the extension and he went on to explain that the build company we had hired never paid his team for his work due to financial problems. Putting all the grievances aside Rob came back the next day and quoted for the remaining work and juggled his workload to get the work completed within two weeks. His team were fantastic, very friendly, tidy and worked really long days. We were extremely pleased with the results they even assembled my lights. This is the first time we've had a large renovation project and there were so many issues with every area of the project but when Rob's team set to work they got on with it and there were no problems or re-work required. A huge thank you again to Rob and his team.
