Fit a kitchen sink

I think the job Richard did in fitting our kitchen sink deserves to be called Job of the Year because he was so professional in every way, and very considerate to us as two elderly people. He came with his work mate to view the job, which meant taking out the old sink, advising us on the best place to go for a new sink and what kind of taps would suit us best. They came out a second time to answer a few questoins we had and to assure that they would do the job as soon as it was delivered to us. After a couple of weeks the sink arrived and Richard was veryprompt in coming to do the job. The sink was a different size to the old one and so he had to cut out some of the worktop, and also there was extra plumbing to sort out. He was particularly careful that we should not lose any shelf space under the sink, and that involved him in spending more time on the job. All together he spent the best part of a day on the job and his charge was only £80. When we insisted in making it up to £100 he said, "Are you sure"? And he said that would cover the cost of the plumbing materials he had to buy. Richard and his work mate were very polite all the time they were with us and we were glad to take his leaflets to give to others who might need jobs doing. Subsequently we have been pleased with the work Richard did and the new sink he fitted.
