My wife and I are both mental health nurses in the NHS. Our work is demanding and stressful. In May 2016 we added to this stress when we moved to our 'new home' with our three year old daughter. Quickly we discovered an extensive amount of plastering would be necessary treatment for our old terraced house. We were filled with angst and dread at the prospect of sourcing a good tradesman to help us with our needs. We had heard so many horror stories.
Thankfully we discovered My Builder.com and our plasterer for life Mr Steven Johnson. Steve was brilliant from start to finish. He was quick to make contact and arrived to see us promptly. Steve was friendly and took time to listen to our story and so offered us his expert opinion and advice. We were very impressed with his honesty, as exhibited in his transparent pricing of our job. He was not pushy and even gave us time to shop around for different quotes. We were so very assured by his straightforward approach and had little hesitation in hiring.
Importantly to us he arrived on time, every time. Moreover he was flexible and understanding in working around our morning routines, which never go to plan with a toddler!
Steve proved to be committed with great attention to detail , he always followed through on what he said he would do. His thoughtful and professional approach really helped to put us at ease. Cleaning down thoroughly at the end of every shift we found Steves service to be quality throughout. A large part of this is Steves excellent and ongoing communication throughout his work with us. Steve was always happy to answer our questions and made it clear we could contact him at anytime.
We now have lovely plastered ceilings and walls , our visitors have all praised his work.Steve most definitely offered us a smooth service with a smooth finish! This tradesman definitely deserves the job of the year award. Thanks again Steve.
