You know you hear about those traditional craftsman who go above and beyond? The sort that were around 50 years? Where you know they are truly skilled and as a woman not worried about letting into your home? Chris is THAT craftsman. He responds really quickly to initial queries and not at silly times of the day. When he arrived (on time and with a big friendly smile) he assessed the work needed and explained all about the 1949 staircase I had. He was able to bring to life the attention to detail the tradesman who installed it all those years ago. I was confident he could fix all the issues with nearly every stair tread. He was also very kind and fixed floorboard on the landing in his own time. He also said if at any time something went a little squeaky again to give him a call. The carpet fitters even commented on what a 'tidy job' Chris had done. Considering he had been quite unwell a few months before and had to turn down work. I would LOVE this honest, hard working and VERY professional craftsman to win. Not many people could fix using traditional methods. Lot of luck Chris!
