Robert really is an excellent tradesman both in quality of work and attitude. Professional and polite he takes pride in his work and delivers beautiful results on schedule and as agreed.
A genuinely nice person he listens to his customer, makes suggestions for a better finish and does not cut corners, communicating throughout the process and cleans up always leaving a tidy work space.
He had my email correspondence and drawings printed out to ensure all tasks were set out correctly and attended to in a methodical manner.
Despite a lengthy list of finishing tasks, restricted working conditions in a Victorian flat undergoing renovations and a limited timescale Robert happily worked through the list of items and prioritised tasks based on space availability and materials.
As a result of hiring Robert I have stylishly restored bookcases in my Victorian flat reinstating the character that had been lost by re-lining, routering the shelves and adding handy cupboard storage and facings.
One of the other tasks Robert completed was edging a feature ceiling detail in the bathroom which finished a contemporary addition while preserving the original cornice. Also replaced damaged door facings to the kitchen door, removing the old ones without damaging the fresh plasterwork.
All work was carried out with care and consideration. Fully recommend Robert as a tradesman and will confidently hire him for any future tasks. His conscientious and can do attitude even in a challenging traditional build are why he should win job of the year.
