Here is our garden. It's not very big and it's not very beautiful. But it floods every single time it rains. The drainage on it is extremely poor. Ideally we would love a practical garden that all the family can enjoy. We have four young boys (under 9) and they would love to be able to play football in the garden but because it doesn't drain well, it rips it apart. And of course, when its rained it just floods! We also have two dogs so ideally we would like a little fence to keep them off the grass as there is a fairly large patio out the back. £1000 would really help us to put in drainage so that the water can run off it and re-turf it with a few easy to maintain plants/shrubs/plants. It would be lovely I have a small area to be our 'growing' area for some easy to grow vegetables and herbs as the boys would love to do that too!
A new garden would change our lives so much. The boys get in trouble for playing football in the road (or they gatecrash the neighbours!!!) and of course, it would be far safer for them to be playing in the back garden! With four boys it can get very noisy if they are kept indoors and we would so much prefer for them to be playing and having fun in the garden!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! (Please!!!!)
