Kate Owen

Hi there, my name is Kate Owen,

I am a busy teacher in a comprehensive school in a lovely part of the Rhondda in South Wales. I am married to Matthew, and we have 2 daughters who we have adopted over the last 7 years. Ffion came to us first and changed our lives completely, followed 4 years later by Menna. We spent so many years waiting to be parents, the joy we have felt from having them is amazing! They are busy and energetic girls, Ffion 7, Menna 3, and we moved to a bigger home to accomodate our growing family, unfortunatly, not long after we had Menna I became ill, with a condition that caused me to have crippling headaches, caused by raised pressured on the brain, It was a very scary time and very much took our attention away from the plans we had made to transform the small but potentially lovely garden area at the rear of the house.
I am much better now, but with the girls being young and us being so busy, we have not managed to get the job doone. The girls don`t have a garden space which is a real shame.
We would, as I am sure many other have would too, be thrilled, to have some help to give out girls, who are very special, a garden they can enjoy and a space for us to reflect on how lucky we are as a family.
We would love to create a space that is easy to manage, with a playhouse for our gorgeous girls.
Just as an aside, our garden has the most amazing view across the Valley, we just can`t enjoy it!
Please help us bring some sunshine into our beautiful little girls Summer holiday!
