My garden, large (approx 97 feet in length) full of mature trees, shrubs (now trees!). I had great plans for this lovely, large space, but due to divorce, redundancy and a whole other lot of monetary and time constraints it has fallen into neglect. I look out of the windows and sigh with despair. Once stood a beautiful Japanese Maple, now dead, the brambles, holy tree and weeds have taken over, like the day of the Triffids. The Leylandi, 10 of them down the right hand side, are enormous and I would so like them out, to give more width (unfortunately they were planted some time ago by previous owners. I would love to have a sectional garden, space for the boys, raised platform and hide out for their army games, trampoline and climbing frame and a section for flowers, shrubs and a smaller bit of grass, that I can mow and potter in, with a flat seating area and bbq, somewhere that I can entertain in, even for just a cuppa! So £1000 would make so much of a difference to my boys and myself, a dream realised, instead of depressing, overwhelming task that I am not up too, on my own.
