Winning would mean everything to my husband and I. It would mean our 7 year old daughter with severe autism, global development delay and pica (eating non edible substances) could have a safe place to play. At current it's weeds, rubble and grass out there and with her having pica she eats everything out there which her paediatrician has said is causing her low iron levels the fact she is constantly eating such things. We have been quoted £3000 for artificial grass and have managed to fundraise half of that so far. She is unable to play in the street with other children as she has the mentality of an infant and also has no awareness to dangers etc. We have already spent a ridiculous amount to get it to a basic safe standard for her.
