This is what remains of what was once a tidy and colourful Victorian courtyard.
Where the dirt is there used to be a slabbed area and a brick potting bed that was built up to the wall.
When we moved in we were advised by the surveyor that there was a tree in the potting bed that the roots would be growing into the house which would need to be removed.
We hadn't got the money to have it done professionally so I decided I would need to remove the tree myself, and then replace the slabbed area with grass for somewhere my children can play.
Removing the tree meant removing the brick potting bed which at the time I didn't realise was holding up the wall you see on the right of the picture, this now needs to be replaced.
I lost my job and had to take a drop in wages so finding the money to sort it hasn't been possible.
I would love to have a place outside my children could enjoy, so they don't come home asking why they can't have a garden and everyone else can!
Please help it would mean the world to us
Congratulations to Nikki Machin who has won a MyBuilder landscape gardener.
