Hi there. This is a picture of my sister in law Sharon Cockburn. My wife and I care for Sharon in many ways as she has learning difficulties and also suffers from Sharmans disease ( curvature of the spine) as well as weakness in legs ankles and hands. We between us try to maintain the interior of her house and also have tidied up the front garden but in between us both working full time we find this to be more of a project than we could handle. It would be wonderful if we could possibly organise for some help from someone with more time and skills to undertake this project for her. All we want is somewhere safe and relaxing for her which at the moment is definitely not. The garden is very un even and it's a constant worry if she tries to do the simplest of things like hanging washing out. All we can do is try to cut grass to make it so she can see where she is stepping. Sharon would be overjoyed if this was a possibility for her and her little dog Poppy to be safe out there. Obviously there's budget issues with Sharon's situation and I think she would be a very worthy candidate for this prize. Last year I got a team together for help The Heros through my builder. It's in my nature to help people in need but this garden is quite a challenge for even us to do. We would be very grateful if Sharon could be considered as a serious candidate . Thank you so much Kevin and Donna x
