Living next to an overgrown field probably has not helped me fend off an invading army of unwanted plant life, and now the garden is over-run by ivy, nettles, wild garlic, sticky weeds, creepers and brambles. As fast as I pull them out, they regenerate and fight back. I no longer garden, I battle. The previous owner prepared the paths around the flower beds with old carpet and plastic sacks topped with gravel, and the weeds have viewed this not as a deterrent, more a laughably easy assault course. I am drowning in weeds. I need help.
