Sian O'connor

Tonbridge

My son is getting married in September so money is very tight. He has just moved into a house with his fiancee. It is an old house and still has uneven cobbles outside the back door as well as concrete and what was originally a small walled garden, the wall is broken and there is a tree stump at the end which is rotten in places. At the end is a concrete path with an open pipe 6 ins in diameter. Next there is 2 lawns, more weeds then lawn, with a path down the middle which has broken in 2 and risen in the middle - catches me every time. The end fence is rotten and there is a big gap between the fence post and a small shed which is 2ft deep. There is also a fairly big tree which apart from covering the path in slippery leaves in winter also keeps any sun out of the garden and rear of house.

This Garden needs help. It is similar to ours and in shade most of the time.
