The garden is letting the cottage and area down and we live in a beautiful country lane on the outskirts of Dalston. Walkers and bikers and neighbours have stopped to comment on how well we have improved the cottage by lovingly bringing out the best of its character but how lovely it would be to have a lovely garden too to compliment the cottage. My5 grandchildren love to visit us and are nagging grandad to make a tree house for them and as 2 grandchildren live in a flat without any garden they especially are excited to use their imagination in all sorts of ways when playing in the garden. We have given each of them a garden pot which they choose plants for and plant them by themselves and are named personally. As we are pensioners and l suffer from arthritis but love gardening I love to potter around and would love more pots to care for as l feel it gives me a positive attitude and lifts my depression it's such a tonic for me. I would love the garden to be a social place to enjoy say a fire pit, outside eating and talking and teaching the grandchildren to enjoy gardening instead of been addicts to the black box namely the TV.
