My 16 year old grandson Charlie was diagnosed last year with a life limiting Neurological illness. Until then he appeared to be a normal healthy boy and he is now in a wheelchair and is in the early stages of dementia. Sometimes he can sleep for 20 hours and other times he may only sleep for two hours meaning that his mum will have to be awake with him.
My daughter has had to move into an adapted property with a wet room , hoist etc. She is a single parent potentially her other children could develop this illness as it is genetic. This illness has devastated our family.
She had a lovely garden in her previous property, she had put a lot of time into it and enjoyed sitting in her garden enjoying the sun. The garden in the new property is large and quite overgrown she has not had time to do anything to it since she moved in September as she is Charlie’s full time carer I would love for her and her children to have a garden to relax in and enjoy family time together.
