My garden used to be beautiful an abundance of colour and variety until a few years ago. It was my husbands pride and joy.sadly he died 5 years ago taken from me at such very short notice two weeks after his 65 birthday.
I inherited his lovely garden to look after. I''ve tried my best and for a few years kept it blooming and still try my best, but now find it overpowering. At one time most of my weekends were spent in Dobbies buying plants hanging baskets tubs, garden products etc. I find I now mostly buy Xmas gifts the odd birthday presents and eat at the restaurant. I'm so saddened to see my once beautiful garden looking drab. There are plenty of plants in it but they really need expert tender love and care. One example of unfinished work is regarding a monkey tree bought in Dobbies 7 years ago and still in the pot but probably 5 ft height now. I haven't a clue what to do with it. I need guidance to say the least and help with reestablishing the layout of areas. What would please me more than anything would be for my family who live away to visit me and remember the happy times in the garden with their dad. It is my piece of heaven and to win this makeover would mean such a lot in more ways than describable.
