I would love to win a makeover because I’m really struggling to do everything myself. Since my husband had a double bypass he can’t do a great deal and certainly not use power tools so I try to do the jobs but that he would have done. I’m pretty good now. I’ve put in a log burner. Fitted my kitchen and tiled the walls. Wallpapered the lounge and tiled the floor. I even took down the old rotting conservatory and bought a new upvc garden room to put in its place. Sadly I’ve only managed to half build it but I hope to finish once the weather improves.
The garden has been a bit neglected while I try to keep up with the house but now I’m waiting for a possible operation on my knee and at 59 I’m just slowing down in general and don’t seem to be able to do as much as I used to !
I would so love a garden to relax in and now I have my first grandchild I want it to be safe for her too. I have a lot of ideas in my head.... getting them out and into the garden is taking awhile.
So winning a garden makeover would mean the world to me.
Fingers crossed 😉
