I am nominating my good friend Ken Watson. He is 92 years young and is disabled so cannot get out and about as much as he would like. He lost his wife of 62 years ( Doris ) in 2012 and spends hours sitting in his garden ( when the weather allows ) with his thoughts of their time together. My husband keeps his garden tidy, although there are never enough hours in the day to do everything. It is quite a large plot, but what would really be of benefit to Ken would be a flat paved patio area near the bungalow, he could then drive onto it with his mobility scooter, instead of having to go over the uneven grass. The second photo shows my husband, Alan and Ken sitting on his wife's memorial bench which is sited on the seafront at Hunstanton, a place they enjoyed together during their married life.
